Assistant Quality Assurance Coordinator
IPSCO Koppel Tubulars in Baytown, Texas is currently seeking an Assistant Quality Assurance Coordinator.
The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of specific quality assurance activities at their assigned location, including supervision of the QA Lab and responsibility in direction and leadership for heat treating and finishing facility. Also provides vacation relief for the QAC.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years in finishing OCTG.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Gaging.
- Mechanical Testing of steel products.
- Thread gaging (API).
- Good problem solving and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Good computer skills – including familiarity with spread sheet applications.
