Non Destructive Testing Supervisor

IPSCO Tubulars (Oklahoma), located at the Port of Catoosa, has an immediate opening for a Non Destructive Testing Supervisor.

If you have supervisory experience in NDT testing procedures and equipment, and you have good people skills, this is a CAREER OPPORTUNITY for you!

The successful candidate will provide supervision, direction, and leadership through example for the department.

As a Production Supervisor, you will:
  • Coordinate activities of all NDT personnel.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure efficient and timely flow of product through the department.
  • Maintain awareness of equipment condition, notifying Maintenance Manager of items requiring attention, and executing those actions necessary to maintain safe and effective equipment.
  • Coordinate and provide training of personnel.
  • Perform or coordinate Safety and Human Resource functions as appropriate within department.
  • Provide weekend and after hours support as necessary. 
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
  • Level 2 Experience in Ultrasonic / EMI / Mag Particle Inspection.
  • 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Proficient PC skills with knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Detail-oriented, and good multi-tasking skills.
  • Physical ability suitable for walking through shop and demonstrating proper use of equipment operation.
