Associate Electrical Engineer
IPSCO Koppel Tubulars Corporation, a leader of seamless tube manufacturing for oil and natural gas drilling has an immediate opening for an Associate Electrical Engineer for its Ambridge location.
This position will report to the Maintenance Manager and provide technical support to the Electrical Maintenance department in evaluating
and solving maintenance issues for all production operations.
Responsibilities include:

Provide technical assistance to shift maintenance
and production employees

Assist in maintaining and upgrading plant electrical systems

Maintain, upgrade and program plant PLC’s

Make revisions to the plant HMI systems

Coordinate the shift tasks and issues with the Electrical Supervisor
and the oncoming and outgoing AEE

Be proactive in investigating and suggesting equipment
and ideas which will improve operational efficiencies

Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic programs
and one-line diagrams.
The successful candidate will possess an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering
with 3 - 5 years experience in an industrial environment. Experience in trouble-shooting AC
and DC variable speed drives and DC cranes a plus.
